Title: Getting our kicks on Rt 66
Date: Feb 25, 2021
AO: Riverside
Q: Chowda
Pax: Kaboom, Treasure, Magnolia, Rocky, Cash Money, Sunny, Birdie, Frosty, Hurricane, Puzzle, Sandpiper, Slasher, ULtra, Southpaw, Twilight, Voyager, Giggles, Doodle
Warm up: Happy Jacks, Arm Circles
The Thang:
It was Tough Girl Thursday so all exercises incorporate weights. We traveled along the newly established Rt 66 (main road extending from one side of the park to the other) carrying our weights. Check the Lexicon for a full description of Rt 66.
Round 1: Hammer Curls, Lunge Walk (between the 2 super spread out poles, side shuffle)
Round 2: Sumo Squat, Grapevine or Side Shuffle (between the 2 extra spread out poles, zombie walk - walking or alternating kicks with arms straight out in front of your chest parallel with your shoulders)
Round 3: Renegade Rows, Butt Kicks
While waiting on the 6, Mountain Climbers (each round). After round 3 we paused for a Triple Check - low plank, high plank, run the stairs (check the Lexicon for the full description).
Mosey back to the Flag for Ab-o-rama: Accumulator - Sit Up/Glute Bridge (for more info on what an accumulator is, yup, you guessed it...check the Lexicon)
COT: We recently had a Regional Leader call where 63 Regions were represented. There are currently 81 FiA regions across the US. Isn’t it amazing knowing we have thousands of women across the US with the same goal?
Forever grateful for this group and I feel incredibly lucky to have crossed paths with all of you at Brunswick! Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us all.
CHECK THE LEXICON ;)
Peace,
Chowda
