FIREWORKS!
Date: Jan. 7, 20201
AO: Riverside
Q: Chowda
PAX: Sparks, Treasure, Granola, Cash Money, Slasher, Red Card, Hurricane, Roundhouse, Giggles, Magnolia, Kaboom
Warm Up: 21 ic Jumping Jacks, 21 ic High Knees, 21 Toy Soldiers
And we're off with headlamps aglow (and my disco vest)! Mosey to the Boonies (new territory, which is a field across the street from the park).
The Thang:
Partner up for FIREWROKS. PAX A runs Stinkers, PAX B starts an exercise. When PAX A returns, PAX B runs Stinkers, PAX A starts an exercise. Complete the reps on your own. You are not sharing the count. For example, F is 25 Front Raises. If PAX A returns from Stinkers and PAX B is on 15, PAX B stops and runs, PAX A starts from 1 on their own. PAX B returns and continues reps 16 to 25 before moving on to the next exercise. When PAX A returns, they pick up where they left off, not where B left off.
F 25 Front Raises
I 50 In & Outs (Boy Bands)
R 75 Reverse Crunches
E 25 Elevated Push Ups
W 50 Whale Tails
O 75 Overhead Claps
R 25 Reverse Lunges
K 50 Kangaroos
S 75 Squats
Mosey back to the lot and circle up. Finish what you were working on in FIREWORKS while waiting on the 6. We did 21 squats together, because I didn't finish FIREWORKS before we had to mosey back.
Hold plank and NOR.
COT: Be proud of your accomplishments, even the small things. Small steps lead to large accomplishments. Also, don't be afraid to try new things. Don't shy away from something that you may think is weird, hard, challenging. It's all about perspective. See/read/say things in a different way and your experience could be completely different. "The right perspective makes the impossible possible."
Thanks to FiA Cherokee and Wonder Woman for the workout plan. Check out www.fianation.com and explore other regions websites and backblasts (the website is currently being revamped so some things might not be accessible at the moment).
Super proud of the Riverside crew and all you are doing for yourself and others. Much respect for you all!
Peace,
Chowda
